Momenta Connect wanted to strengthen its organic visibility and reach more of the audience searching for its specialist services across the UK. The key objective was to increase visibility for relevant search terms, drive more qualified organic traffic, and create greater opportunities to generate enquiries and sign-ups. Given the highly specialised nature of Momenta Connect’s industry, the campaign focused on building a stronger long-term organic presence and establishing greater visibility within this niche market
One of the main challenges was the specialised nature of Momenta Connect’s market. Unlike broader industries with large volumes of generic searches, the organisation operates across specific areas of education, healthcare, assessment, and support. This meant there was a smaller pool of relevant search demand, making it important to focus on quality and relevance rather than simply chasing traffic volume.
The market is also influenced by changes outside of Momenta Connect’s control. Developments across UK government policy, NHS pathways and the wider education and healthcare sector can quickly change what users are searching for. The Right to Choose opportunity demonstrated this directly, creating a new area of search demand that required the SEO strategy to respond quickly.
Another challenge was building visibility across a broad range of specialist services without treating each service or keyword as a standalone opportunity. The strategy needed to establish stronger connections between Momenta Connect, its services, and the wider topics it operates within. This is where the content strategy and entity-building approach became important.
A further challenge was accurately measuring conversion performance. During the strategy rollout, Ruby Digital identified a cookie policy issue that meant some conversions were not being recorded correctly in GA4. This made it difficult to accurately understand how organic traffic was contributing to enquiries and other key conversion actions, which could impact data-led business decisions. Ruby Digital worked closely with the client, strategic partners and web development team to investigate and identify the underlying issue. A solution was then implemented to rectify the tracking, allowing conversions to be recorded more accurately and providing a more reliable basis for evaluating performance and making informed business decisions.
Finally, the campaign needed to balance shorter-term search opportunities with longer-term organic growth. While pages such as Right to Choose could respond to emerging demand relatively quickly, building broader topical relevance and authority across a specialised industry requires a more sustained approach.
These challenges reinforced the central role of SEO within a specialised industry: success is not simply about generating the largest possible amount of traffic, but about identifying relevant demand, responding to changes in the market and building visibility around the areas where the business has genuine expertise
Ruby Digital’s SEO strategy was built around the specific challenges of operating in a specialised industry. Rather than focusing solely on increasing traffic or targeting high-volume keywords, the approach focused on understanding relevant search demand, strengthening Momenta Connect’s topical relevance, and responding to changes within the wider industry.
Content & Page Optimisation
Keyword research and search intent analysis were used to identify relevant opportunities across Momenta Connect’s specialist services. These insights informed both new blog content and the optimisation of existing service pages.
Key areas included ADHD assessments, education welfare, school attendance, Inclusion Hubs and other specialist services. The focus was on identifying searches that were relevant to Momenta Connect’s audience and connecting them with useful, well-optimised content.
This helped create a more connected organic presence across Momenta Connect’s key services, while giving the website more opportunities to appear across different stages of the search journey.
Responding to Industry Developments
The strategy also considered developments within the wider UK education and healthcare landscape and how these could influence what people search for.
Right to Choose provided a strong example. As the pathway became increasingly relevant to people searching for assessment options, Momenta Connect developed and optimised a dedicated page to address the emerging search demand.
This demonstrated that SEO in a specialised industry cannot operate in isolation from the market. Government policy, NHS pathways, and wider developments within the sector can create new search behaviour and opportunities, requiring the SEO strategy to adapt accordingly.
Building Topical Relevance
Ruby Digital also took an entity-building approach to content, moving beyond individual keyword targeting to strengthen the relationship between Momenta Connect, its services and the wider topics associated with its expertise.
The Momenta Connect white paper, supporting blog content and service-page optimisation were used as part of this wider approach. Content was developed around priority topics and connected to relevant services, helping to establish a stronger and more consistent topical presence.
For a specialised business, this provides a longer-term SEO benefit by helping search engines better understand what the organisation does, the areas it specialises in, and the topics it has expertise in.
Identifying Relevant Search Opportunities
The strategy continuously looked for opportunities to expand Momenta Connect’s organic visibility across areas where there was a clear connection between search demand and the services the organisation provides. The focus on areas such as education welfare, attendance, ADHD assessments and Inclusion Hubs helped build visibility across a broader range of relevant searches.
This is ultimately where SEO plays an important role for a specialised industry: not simply generating more traffic, but identifying the right search opportunities, responding to changes in the market and building visibility around the areas where the business has genuine expertise
The SEO campaign helped Momenta Connect build a broader organic presence across a highly specialised search market. Comparing the first three months of 2026 (Jan–Mar 2026) with the latest three-month period (May–Jul 2026), organic impressions increased by 52.2%, showing that the website was appearing for a wider range of relevant searches.
One of the clearest examples was the Right to Choose opportunity. Changes in the UK education and healthcare landscape led to increased interest in the pathway, creating new search demand around assessment services. Ruby Digital identified this as an opportunity for Momenta Connect to increase its visibility and reach a more relevant audience searching for these services. The dedicated Right to Choose page gained significant traction, demonstrating how SEO can respond to changes in a specialised market rather than relying solely on established search demand.
The campaign also focused on strengthening visibility across Momenta Connect’s core services. Content and page optimisation targeted areas including ADHD assessments, education welfare, school attendance and Inclusion Hubs, with an entity-building approach used to develop stronger topical relevance across the site.
This produced several notable ranking improvements. The ADHD assessments page saw its average organic position improve by 85.8%, moving the page from limited visibility towards the first page of Google. The “WPA education welfare services” search also reached a prominent position in Google, demonstrating stronger visibility for a highly relevant service-related query.
The campaign also identified and resolved a conversion tracking issue linked to the website’s cookie policy. Some conversions were not being recorded correctly in GA4, making it difficult to accurately measure the contribution of organic traffic to enquiries and other key conversion actions. Through collaboration between Ruby Digital, the strategic partners, the client and the web development team, a solution was implemented to rectify the issue, improving the reliability of conversion data and providing a stronger foundation for measuring organic performance against conversions.
Ultimately, the results show that SEO can play an important role in a specialised industry. For Momenta Connect, the focus has been on finding relevant search opportunities, responding to changes in the UK market and improving visibility across its key services.
The campaign is still developing, but the progress so far gives Momenta Connect a stronger organic presence and a better foundation for driving relevant enquiries over time.
