About the role

  • You will support our Marketing and Performance Divisions by designing high-quality creatives, inclusive of but not limited to:
    • high-performing ads,
    • website and social content,
    • video content,
    • internal presentations, and
    • physical brand collateral.
  • To be successful in this role, you must have proven ability in the above, experience with HTML5 and motion graphics.
  • This is a remote role in South Africa.

Responsibilities

  • Design static and animated Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, X ads, channel-specific formats (static, GIF, basic animation), carousels, and digital banners
  • Design of Social Media posts
  • Design of Website banners
  • Design GDN banners (static and responsive/HTML5 preferred)
  • Edit video content for overlays, reels, story other digital formats
  • Develop, format and polish internal and external presentation decks (PowerPoint/Slides)
  • Create internal brand assets and external collateral (e.g. business cards, brand manuals)
  • Maintain creative consistency across all touchpoints (considering differing brand guidelines between clients and Ruby Digital brand internal)
  • Collaborate with Ruby Digital marketing and Client Teams (Success, Growth and Performance) to refine performance-led creative and ensure clear and strategic campaign direction.

Attributes & Requirements

  • Your own laptop/desktop computer that meets the minimum specifications as defined by the Employment Contract
  • Strong portfolio that includes brand asset creation, social media content, digital ads, video work, and presentation design
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign)
  • Experience with Canva and Figma
  • Proficient in Google Slides/PowerPoint layout and formatting
  • Bonus: Experience with animation and HTML5 ad design
  • Highly reliable, organised, proactive, collaborative and comfortable in a remote, high-output team

Education

  • 2–3 years professional fast-paced creative digital graphic design experience (agency preferred)
