Brief & Objectives

Trend Group approached Ruby Digital to improve brand awareness, increase online presence, and increase lead generation. They also required an updated, modern global website.

With the goal of increasing organic visibility, the client came on board for SEO services and shortly afterwards web development services with the vision of a website development project to deliver a modern, sleek, and stylish website that is easy to navigate and that provides information on Trend Group’s service offering.

Challenges

The objectives of this website development project were to better convey what TREND GROUP does, ensure easy navigation, and ensure the site is accessible on mobile devices for an optimal user experience. The goal of SEO services was to increase online visibility and lead generation.

A challenge with our strategy was that generally organic traffic sees a noticeable decrease after a site is redeveloped, and this would impact the performance of our SEO service optimizations as well as negatively impact our campaign goals.

Our Solution

  • We developed an SEO strategy that included on-page and off-page optimizations and saw positive results.
  • SEO keyword research was important in our approach, as a focus was to improve the ranking of non-branded keywords in order to target users who would be searching for service-related keywords that Trend Group offers.
  • This keyword research also formed part of the content optimizations, which included some of these non-branded keywords, such as “office interior design.”
  • With regards to the website redevelopment, we were able to dedevelop the site to deliver a more stylish and modern feel and achieve what the client had in mind for the new website design. Throughout the website development, we were able to overcome an expected drop-off in organic traffic and still saw great results post-site migration.

Results

After our initial month of SEO setup tasks, the results seen over a 12-month period were:

A 36.99% increase in organic traffic. A 100% increase in organic telephone click conversions & a 100% increase in organic email click conversions.

The new redeveloped site now has SEO in mind and is optimised for mobile viewing.
