About the role

  • Ruby Digital is looking for a Digital Marketing Graduate to join our team. Our team is focused and creating value for our clients.
  • You will work on a diverse range of clients, delivering measurable return on investment and organic growth. This role is available in a variety of fields, namely: Social Marketing, Search Marketing, Success & Growth.

Responsibilities

Social Marketing

  • You will learn how to implement effective social media & email marketing strategies for our clients.  
  • You will gain hands on experience in managing organic social media campaigns, creating content, executing paid social media campaigns, and assisting in managing email marketing campaigns, ensuring they are targeted, effective, and in line with our clients’ marketing objectives.  
  • You will gain hands on experience in data analysis and reporting 
  • You would work closely with our team to learn how to understand our clients’ business goals and develop social strategies & subsequent campaigns that drive awareness, engagement and conversions in a problem-solving & supportive environment.  
  • To succeed in this role, bring a passion for social marketing, a willingness to learn and the drive to meet client goals. 

Search Marketing

  • You will learn about digital marketing strategies from industry professionals and gain hands-on experience in SEO and Google Ads. 
  • You will gain valuable skills in conducting keyword research, analyzing website data, and creating and implementing on-site and off-site SEO and Google Ads campaigns. 
  • You will monitor and adjust campaigns to optimize performance, and collaborate with team members on website content and technical optimisations, enhancing your analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. 
  • You will develop strong communication and interpersonal skills, working with a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • You will have opportunities for professional development and growth, allowing you to advance your career in digital marketing. 

Success

  • You will learn how to manage the marketing portfolio of both local and international clients
  • You’ll learn to coordinate and manage various workflow activities within the agency on behalf of your clients  
  • You will learn how to facilitate value offerings and prepare solutions for existing clients
  • You will gain hands on experience in data analysis and reporting  
  • You’ll learn the soft skills required to build strong client relationships 
  • To succeed in this role, you’ll need good communication skills, a solution driven mindset and be detailed orientated 

Growth

  • You will learn how to engage with potential clients in a professional but friendly manner enhancing your relationship development and management skills.
  • You will learn how to nurture a lead through the sales funnel and how to convert them through the various pipeline stages until they are successfully a fulfilled client with a fruitful portfolio. 
  • You will learn to know which marketing strategies and products to apply to different businesses and industries to reach a specific objective or goal. 
  • You will learn how to educate leads on various marketing products and thus gaining a deeper understanding of the products Ruby Digital offers including all possible limitations and opportunities. 
  • To succeed in this role, you must have a competitive and entrepreneurial spirit, and enjoy engaging with new clients to grow Ruby Digital.

Attributes & Requirements

  • Your own laptop/desktop computer that meets minimum specifications as defined by Employment Contract
  • A strong and reliable internet connection (essential)
  • Passion for digital marketing
  • Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Awesome project management and organisational skills
  • A willingness to take ownership of the work
  • Strong work ethic and self-starter
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Word/Google Docs and Excel/Google Sheets)
  • The desire to learn and grow

Education

  • Tertiary qualification in marketing/business/ analytics/communication/science, ideally a degree or similar level qualifications.
