About the role

  • Ruby Digital is looking for a Web Development Project Manager to join our team.
  • Our team is focused and creating value for our clients.
  • You will work on a diverse range of clients, delivering measurable return on investment and organic growth.
  • You will be responsible for managing various web development projects, including client liaison, building relationships with clients on a client service level, and management.
  • You will work alongside a skilled team of developers and digital marketing experts to craft top-tier websites and provide outstanding website-related services.

  • You are familiar with digital marketing services such as SEO, Paid Ads, Email Marketing, etc.
  • Are able to manage a range of diverse projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Liaise with both local and international clients on a regular basis
  • Website Development Scoping: Ensure a comprehensive understanding of each project, brief developers, compile quotes and solution proposals.
  • Project management and support:
    Skilfully oversee the complete website development project lifecycle, from initial planning and capacity/resource management to website launch and post-sales service. This encompasses thorough testing and revisions, stringent quality control measures and risk management.
  • Team Coordination and Management: Serve as the main point of contact between diverse teams (designers, developers, content creators) and stakeholders. Ensure efficient communication and collaboration across the project’s entire life cycle.
  • Ensure a solid understanding of the client’s environment, business goals, and best practices to recommend ideal solutions for desired business outcomes.
  • Stabilisation and advanced web development products: Recognise opportunities for enhancing existing products and innovating the creation of new products.
  • Supporting team members in matters related to websites, including offering assistance, troubleshooting, and resolving conflicts.
  • Quote tracking and profitability analysis
  • Work under pressure and be fully adaptable to the ever-changing world of web development.
  • Follow industry trends, drive innovation, and contribute to case studies, blog articles, and training, as well as define, monitor, and analyse trends.
  • Contribute to projects, process changes, and roll-outs of the company

Attributes & Requirements

  • You are passionate about web development and helping companies grow
  • You are a skilled project manager with a demonstrated history of success in web development (minimum 1 year)
  • You are a fast learner with a great work ethic
  • You have effective time management, project management, and organisational skills
  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • You have a positive attitude and a growth mindset
  • You have a tertiary education
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Word/Google Docs and Excel/Google Sheets)
  • Your own laptop/desktop computer
  • Ability and passion to educate and share industry knowledge with less experienced team members
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness and the initiative to lead advanced projects

Education

  • Tertiary education and minimum 1-year experience in a similar environment.
