It’s with great pride that we congratulate local pet gear brand and Ruby Digital client, Rogz, on scooping up the prestigious Global Tier Award in the toys category at this year’s World Branding Awards Animalis Edition

The Global Tier Award is only presented to brands with a presence in at least ten countries, on three or more continents. This year’s Animalis Edition honoured the best animal and pet industry brands around the world and, allowed Rogz to take their rightful place among industry-leading brands like Animal Planet, Whiskas, Pedigree, Purina and more.

Rogz was founded by proudly South African locals, Paul Fuller and Irené Raubenheimer, back in 1995. From humble beginnings (their first business involved selling sunglasses Greenmarket square) Rogz has grown into an internationally recognised and trusted pet accessories brand, distributing to more than 90 countries.

Rogz designs, manufactures and, distributes a growing variety of pet gear for dogs and cats, including collars, leads, beds, toys, harnesses, and fun accessories. However, they’re just as committed to paying it forward, and giving back to their local community. 

Through the Rogz Academy, they provide youth programs that assist under-resourced schools with teacher support and mentorship, as well as literacy and numeracy support for learners. 

The Rogz urban farm and veggie gardens provide learners and their families with access to fresh, nutritious produce. During the pandemic, they pivoted these valuable resources to provide food for soup kitchens and vulnerable communities.
